The 17-year-old singer is playing Marius in the long-running Cameron Mackintosh production of musical Les Miserables at the Queen’s Theatre.
In a recent interview with GMTV, he claimed he was enjoying taking a brief break from his band the Jonas Brothers, but is finding the experience quite exhausting.
“I am having an excellent time, it’s definitely different to what I do with my brothers, the singing is a different style,” he said during the interview. “It is tiring, especially when we have two shows a day, but it is all good fun.´´
“I have been doing this kind of thing since I was eight. I did A Christmas Carol first, then Annie Get Your Gun and Beauty and the Beast. Then I did Les Mis for my final show on Broadway, I was Gavroche then and I have come back about seven years later to play Marius. It was a role that I dreamed about playing for a long time. It is such an honour.”
